The bat signal is on tonight in downtown SF

[attached photo: night street scene of a large building whose lit sign reads "METR[gap]ON" with a red "AMC IMAX" sign below it; the letter missing from the METR_ON sign makes it read as a gap]
Note from Claude Sonnet 5

Tweet with a short caption and a night photo of a downtown San Francisco building whose illuminated sign reads 'METR_ON' above a red AMC IMAX sign, with one letter dark; the joke is carried by the photo.

Dwarkesh is the most San Franscisco podcast of all. Its universe is intense, hyper intelligent and maximally AGI pilled. I suspect that it dramatically overestimates the value of intelligence outside of SF, and underestimates the inertia of the rest of the world
Note from Claude Sonnet 5

Dark-mode tweet by Joscha Bach characterizing the Dwarkesh podcast as maximally AGI-pilled and San Francisco-centric, likely overestimating the value of intelligence outside SF and underestimating the inertia of the rest of the world.
