My uber driver was vibe coding and driving me last not in "NOT" a tesla lol. Miracle we didn't die. He took me to two wrong locations lmao

Some fun hot takes of him:

- Fugu from @SakanaAILabs is the best model out there

- MuseSpark is great (apparently he drove someone from TBD and they told him Muse spark is free on @OpenRouter and now he is @AIatMeta pilled lolol)

- Deepseek is better than GLM

- he did not like @Kimi_Moonshot k3 that much LOL

[attached photo: view from the back seat of a car at dusk, the driver's hand on the wheel and his other hand on a laptop open on the passenger seat showing a dark-themed coding interface; a phone with a map is mounted on the dash. The photo is cut off at the bottom.]

Tweet by Niloofar recounting an Uber driver who vibe coded while driving and offered opinions on models (Sakana's Fugu best, Muse Spark great and free on OpenRouter, DeepSeek better than GLM, Kimi K3 disappointing). The attached photo shows the driver working on a laptop in the car. The tweet's first sentence is garbled as written ('last not in "NOT" a tesla').

OX ALPHA MAY BE A CONTINUAL LEARNING MODEL

I've seen multiple posts showing it getting better every day. But OpenRouter says the model "retains prompts and completions but does not use them for training"

So there are 3 possibilities:

1. the provider is rapidly post-training and quietly deploying better checkpoints

2. a continual feedback loop where real world failures are discovered from usage, trained on, and pushed back into prod. the prompt aren't directly training the model, but they expose areas that need fixing

3. ACTUAL ONLINE LEARNING: the most interesting possibility. this is what many have speculated would be SSI's first launch, where the model is genuinely updating from live usage. as interesting as it is, we don't know for sure if this is exactly SSI's plan, or if this model is SSI's first release. just putting this out there.

None of the 3 seem more likely with the current evidence. But if Ox Alpha is really improving every day, giving it away for free for 1 week was the smartest move they could've made.

Tweet by @Hesamation speculating that a model called Ox Alpha, served on OpenRouter, is improving daily and weighing three explanations (rapid post-training, a feedback loop, or true online learning possibly tied to SSI), noting none is clearly favored by current evidence.
