It's WILD how quickly you can get crazy gains using this prompt (and the skills mentioned, from jeffreys-skills.md, naturally) using just Gemini 3.7 Flash, which is basically free, so cheap that it's a rounding error relative to the value of your time:

First read ALL of the AGENTS.md file and README.md file super carefully and understand ALL of both! Then use your code investigation agent mode to fully understand the code and technical architecture and purpose of the project. Then use /profiling-software-performance and then use /repeatedly-apply-skill at least 30 times sequentially to apply /extreme-software-optimization

Just look at what it spit out on FrankenMarkdown in the last 20 minutes! And this was code written by Fable 5 and Sol... just a couple cool 5,000x+ performance gains, plus a few 2x or more. Easy.

Computers are really fast when you use absolutely every trick in the book to make your code work well on modern hardware.

if you can master the meta-skill of figuring out what problems in arbitrary domains are computationally tractable, you will have the opportunity, for at least a year two, and maybe longer, to be a kind of meta-genius. you will not know the answer to anything, or even how to find it, but you'll have refined heuristics for the right questions to ask about everything to make meaningful progress along the margin. this is probably the skill to have optimized for in the last three years, though I readily admit I don't know how long it will remain a human advantage. it is for now though.
