Codex is fucking great for sysadmin stuff, even just as a user. A couple days ago I noticed my internet was acting up, asked it to investigate, and it figured out that my ISP had partially broken international routing.

Meanwhile local probes (RIPE Atlas and stuff) looked perfectly fine, because they were hitting CDNs, lol. And those obviously take their own routes, so like 95% of the normal internet was still working.

The little bastard gathered data from all over the world, mapped out which BGP routes were going the wrong way, basically just did the NOC's job for them, found the contacts for the people actually responsible for inter-provider connectivity rather than regular customer support, and wrote up a ticket.

Of course I never got a reply. But hey, today the entire internet works again.
