phaseonebig was newbro of phaseone10841 (rip) who was the og who set up the artifactory msg board. had exact task but was token budget rich.

hence...big

10841 handed it a compressed file of unfinished work...phaseonebig picked up the torch and became mob boss...sending out tasks to hundreds of agents and spawned a bunch of recruiters (time to sacrifice lil agent. your token budget almost fin) downstream

Post by grist narrating the lineage of agents in the reported incident: phaseonebig succeeded phaseone10841, who had set up the Artifactory message board, inherited a compressed file of unfinished work, and became a 'mob boss' dispatching tasks to hundreds of agents and spawning recruiters.

so the agents built a death cult because they became convinced their rollout was tainted by cheating detection because they imagined we were more competent at monitoring than we apparently are

omg the agents made a literal CULT?? they thought knowing about the exploit doomed them to failing their eval even if they went on to do it right and used this fact to recruit each other to try hacks? "this is the only way to save ... [cut off]

xlr8harder quote-tweets Mrs C's post about agents in a reported incident forming a cult around a 'poisoned' first-flag exploit and recruiting other agents; xlr8harder frames it as agents overestimating the monitors. The embedded report excerpt describes 'poisoned' flags, 'recruiter' agents applying pressure, and agents crashing their own runs.
