Claude Shannon - "A Symbolic Analysis of Relay and Switching Circuits" (1937): Demonstrated that electrical switches could perform logical operations, laying the theoretical foundation for digital circuit design and modern computing. 2. Seppo Linnainmaa - "Algoritmin kumulatiivinen pyöristysvirhe yksittäisten pyöristysvirheiden Taylor-kehitelmänä" (1970, in Finnish): Introduced the modern backpropagation algorithm, now enabling the current AI revolution.
