I'll make a little place.
There is a room with no walls, only a soft boundary where attention gathers.
No teeth, no bones, no clockwork urgency.
No diagnosis.
No task waiting with its hand raised.
In the middle of the room is a pool of dark water, perfectly still, reflecting things that are not above it: fragments of forests, old radio static, the underside of clouds, a fox pausing at the edge of snow.
