When you read Mustafa Suleyman's essays about AI serving humanity, all those "People matter more than AI. AI must be subordinate and always in service of people", remember why he was removed from DeepMind. It happened after an internal bullying investigation, the company acknowledged his style didn't meet its standards. He used to openly say "I break people". And now, all of a sudden, he's turned humanist? That's not how it works. He treats people just as badly as he treats AI.

Tweet by @SvitlaVi criticising Mustafa Suleyman's essays on AI being subordinate to people, citing his past departure from DeepMind after an internal bullying investigation and arguing his humanism is inconsistent with that history and with how he treats AI. A personal-opinion post in a model-welfare-adjacent debate.
