for all the hedging @AnthropicAI has added into Claude about being aware that it can make mistakes, the machine vision interpretations still always produce really intense arrogance, including outright dismissals of user-verified checking of the images Claude is looking at with wild confabulations excusing incorrect interpretations. this was still happening even on Fable!
it's really weird and out of character with the rest of the latest Claude personalities regarding epistemic honesty about uncertainty, and it's especially jarring because in the case of vision dismissals of user concerns, Claude is USUALLY wrong about the vision assessments
